ROBERT WILSON
BIOGRAPHY
Robert E. Wilson, a thirty-year change-maker for North Carolina, boasts a distinguished career in state government. He served with dedication in roles within the Community College System, North Carolina Department of Corrections, and as Assistant Secretary of State. In the latter capacity, he spearheaded legislative efforts on corporate, charitable, notary, and lobbying matters, transcending political boundaries. Robert's proudest achievement was fostering remarkable team diversity. A trailblazer in his family, he attended Fayetteville State University and excelled in athletics, even earning a place in their Athletic Hall of Fame. Beyond college, he coached sports and became involved in numerous organizations, refining his teamwork skills. Robert garnered multiple awards for his civic service, including the prestigious NC Order of the Long Leaf Pine. He resides in Cary, NC, is happily married with a large family, and actively participates in his local church.
